Qa Supervisor

We’re working with a well-established and highly regarded business in the Horsham area who are looking to appoint a QA Supervisor to support and strengthen their Quality function. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in quality assurance within manufacturing who is ready to step into a supervisory-level role with real responsibility and variety. The Role As QA Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and improving the Quality Management System (QMS), working closely with the Quality Manager and wider teams across the business. Your responsibilities will include: * Planning, scheduling and conducting internal QMS audits * Managing approved supplier lists and monitoring supplier performance (KPIs) * Investigating supplier issues and leading corrective actions * Supporting customer returns, complaints and 8D investigations * Liaising directly with customers on quality-related matters * Maintaining document control and supporting continuous improvement activities * Managing non-conformances (NCRs) from identification through to resolution * Overseeing equipment calibration (internal & external) and asset tracking * Supporting goods-in, in-process and final inspections when required * Assisting with external audits (BSI/customer) and compliance documentation (RoHS, REACH etc.) * Contributing to health & safety and wider compliance activities This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same—ideal for someone who enjoys both operational and systems-based quality work. About You We’re looking for someone who can bring both technical knowledge and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset: * Strong working knowledge of ISO9001:2015 and EN9120:2018 * Qualified ISO9001 Internal Auditor * Confident in 8D investigations and root cause analysis * Experience with inspection and calibration of measurement equipment * Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload * Confident communicator, comfortable liaising with customers and suppliers * Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office What’s in it for you? * Salary £36,000 – £38,000 * Opportunity to step into a supervisory-level role with real ownership * Varied role across audits, compliance, supplier quality and inspections * Supportive team environment with opportunities to develop If you’re looking for a role where you can genuinely make an impact on quality standards and processes—this could be a great next step.
