The Role
We are recruiting 4 experienced Chassis Fitters to join a busy engineering/manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on role involving mechanical assembly on chassis builds, working to engineering drawings while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities Mechanical assembly and fitting on chassis builds
Install and maintain mechanical components
Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Read and interpret engineering drawings
Fault finding and supporting production targets
Maintain quality standards and documentation
Promote safe working practices and good housekeeping
Quality, Teamwork & Safety Take ownership of the quality of your work
Raise and report quality or safety concerns
Work collaboratively with team leaders and colleagues
Assist with recovery plans when production is behind
Follow H&S procedures and use PPE correctly
Flexibility & General Duties Willing to move between areas when required (with training)
Develop job knowledge and skills
Reliable, punctual, and self-disciplined xwzovoh
Adhere to company policies and procedures
Confident using IT systems, including Production Management Systems (PMS)
Requirements Proven experience as a Chassis Fitter / Mechanical Fitter / Vehicle Builder
Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Ability to work from engineering drawings
Strong attention to detail
Team-focused and flexible attitude
Basic IT skills
