Manual Turner Long Eaton, NG10 Circa £18.50ph (Dependent on Experience) Days - Regular Metalis are currently working in partnership with a precision engineering company and are looking to recruit an experienced Manual Turner on a permanent basis due to continued growth and expansion. Job Duties: Setting and operating manual turning machines to manufacture precision components to specification Working from engineering drawings and technical instructions Producing high-quality components to tight tolerances Inspecting finished components using measuring equipment to ensure accuracy Carrying out machine adjustments and basic maintenance as required Ensuring all work is completed in line with quality and health & safety standards Maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient work area Working collaboratively as part of a skilled engineering teamJob Requirements: Previous experience operating manual turning machinery - essential Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Experience working to tight tolerances within a precision engineering environment Confident using measuring equipment such as micrometers, verniers, and gauges Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work independently and as part of a team Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a growing businessShifts & Salary: 40 hours per week (typically 7:00am - 3:30pm, with flexibility) Many team members currently work 6:30am - 3:30pm Monday to Thursday Early finish on Fridays (typically 6:30am - 12:30pm) Circa £18.50 per hour (dependent on experience)Benefits: 29 days holiday Contractual profit-sharing scheme Supportive and forward-thinking working environment Career development opportunities as the business continues to expandThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Manual Turner looking to secure a long-term position within a growing and progressive company.
