Mechanical Site Manager Buckinghamshire Permanent or Freelance A leading UK M&E contractor, renowned for delivering major projects across the Commercial, Residential, and Data Centre sectors, is looking to appoint three Mechanical Construction Managers for the next phase of a large-scale data centre development in Buckinghamshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for ambitious Mechanical Construction Managers to join a business that genuinely invests in its people, offering clear progression routes into Project Management and senior leadership positions. You’ll play a key role on a flagship data centre project while gaining exposure to technically complex, large-scale works within a highly respected contractor. Key Responsibilities Overseeing day-to-day site operations across mechanical packages Ensuring works are delivered in line with programme requirements and key project milestones Coordinating subcontractors and managing site logistics on a fast-paced live project Maintaining high standards of health & safety and promoting a positive safety culture on site Monitoring quality standards and supporting commissioning and snagging activities Working closely with Project Managers, engineers, design teams, and client representatives Managing permits, RAMS, progress reporting, and daily site documentation Supporting project handover and ensuring completion targets are achieved Requirements Proven experience as a Mechanical Site Manager or Construction Manager on MEP-led or technically complex projects, ideally within the data centre sector Mechanical or Electrical background through trade, engineering, or project delivery Strong subcontractor management and coordination skills across multiple workstreams Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to project delivery Previous data centre experience is highly advantageous Package & Benefits Salary up to £85,000 (depending on experience) 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays Pension scheme Travel expenses covered Long-term project pipeline Strong opportunities for internal progression within a stable, privately owned business For more information or to apply, contact: (url removed)
