Electrician

We’re hiring for an Electrician to join a specialist engineering business based in New Mills working on the installation, testing and fault finding of industrial machinery and 3-phase systems across a range of sites. What’s on offer? * £18 - £20.08 p/h * Annual bonus of up to £5,000 * Mon - Fri | 45 hour week | flexihours * Overtime paid at 1.5x (2x on Sundays) * 20 days holiday + banks (rising with service) * Standard pension scheme * Overnight allowance (£40 per night when staying away) * Ongoing training and development What will you be doing as an Electrician? * Installing and wiring industrial machinery and equipment * Working with 3-phase systems, containment and armoured cabling * Completing testing, inspection and fault finding on machinery * Installing lighting and power within industrial environments * Reading and working from technical drawings and schematics * Supporting installation, upgrades and modifications on-site * Working across multiple projects (mainly North West, occasional travel) What will you need? * Proven experience working on machinery or plant equipment (not essential) * A background in electrical installations * NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation * Strong understanding of 3-phase systems and site work * Full UK driving licence * City & Guilds 2391 Test & Inspection qualification (not essential) Interested?
