The Role As a KS2 Teacher, you will take responsibility for a Key Stage 2 class, delivering engaging and creative lessons that promote excellent academic progress, confidence and a genuine love of learning. You will work closely with colleagues, support staff and families to ensure every child thrives in a positive and inclusive environment. Key Responsibilities • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum • Assess, monitor and track pupil progress effectively using formative and summative assessment • Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment with high expectations for behaviour and achievement • Promote strong literacy, numeracy and communication skills across all subjects • Support pupils with SEND and EAL through adaptive teaching and inclusive practice • Build strong partnerships with parents and carers to support pupil development • Contribute to the wider life of the school through clubs, trips and enrichment activities • Work collaboratively with colleagues and participate fully in CPD and school improvement initiatives • Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and maintain the highest professional standards Requirements To be considered for this KS2 Teacher role, you will need: • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) • Experience teaching within a UK primary school setting, ideally within Key Stage 2 • Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and effective teaching strategies • A proven ability to raise attainment and support pupils of varying abilities, including SEND and EAL learners • Excellent classroom management and communication skills • A positive, nurturing and proactive approach to teaching and learning • Commitment to inclusion, equality and pupil wellbeing Desirable • Experience teaching in a diverse urban school setting • Subject leadership strengths or curriculum specialisms • Experience leading clubs, trips or extra-curricular activities What the School Offers • A welcoming and supportive staff team • Excellent mentoring and professional development opportunities • Strong leadership and collaborative working culture • Well-behaved, enthusiastic pupils who enjoy learning • Opportunities for career progression and subject leadership • A diverse and inclusive school community • Convenient Islington location with excellent transport links Salary & Benefits • Competitive Inner London salary: £37,870 - £56,154 (M1 – U3) • Permanent, full-time contract • Term-time working hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm • Supportive induction programme for ECTs • Ongoing CPD and leadership development opportunities Why work via Teach Now?
