Registered Manager (CQC) - Care Home
Location: Northallerton
Hours: Full-time Monday to Friday (9 to 5)
Salary: £55,000 per year
A well-established and welcoming care home in Northallerton is looking for an experienced Registered Manager to join their team. With over 35 years of experience in specialised care, the organisation delivers high-quality residential, dementia, mental health, and day care services. Each home is designed to provide a warm and supportive environment where residents feel respected, valued, and cared for.
About the Role
As a Registered Manager, you will work across a single local homes with 60 beds. You will play a key role in ensuring outstanding care and will collaborate closely with the senior management team. The organisation provides a supportive network and access to the latest technologies to help you succeed.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with CQC standards and regulations
- Manage and motivate care teams to deliver the highest standards of care
- Carry out on-call duties as required
- Maintain records, policies, and procedures in line with legal requirements
Requirements
- At least 2 years' experience in a management or supervisory role within health and social care
- Hands-on experience managing care homes
- Proven ability to manage and motivate a team effectively
- Strong understanding of current legal responsibilities and care standards
Desirable
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards)
