About the Role
An exciting opportunity for an experienced and driven Sales Manager to lead and develop sales activity within a well-established branch in Preston. This role is focused on managing existing accounts while driving new business growth across the local region.
You will play a key role in the continued success of the branch, building strong relationships with customers and suppliers, and delivering a high standard of service. This position is ideal for someone with industry experience who thrives in a target-driven, customer-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and grow a portfolio of existing customer accounts
* Identify and secure new business opportunities within the local region
* Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams
* Deliver and exceed sales targets, contributing to overall branch performance
* Monitor local market trends and competitor activity
* Ensure consistently high standards of customer service and professionalism
* Support the overall growth and success of the branch through proactive sales activity
About You
* Proven experience within the electrical wholesale industry
* Strong background in both account management and new business development
* Track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Self-motivated, target-driven, and commercially aware
* Strong relationship-building skills with a customer-first mindset
