Production Operative (Rotating shifts)

Production Operative - Rotating Shifts Location: Dukinfield Our client, a long‑established manufacturer based in Dukinfield, is looking to recruit a Production Operative to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis, with an immediate start available. This is a hands‑on role working within a busy factory environment, involving machine operation and general production duties. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Operating production machinery, including mills, Barwell mixers and slitting machines Carrying out general factory and production operations Mixing and blending materials in line with production requirements Reading and following job instructions to ensure products meet quality and customer standards Cleaning tools, machinery and work areas, and maintaining tool boards Working safely at all times and reporting any unsafe conditions or faults to supervisors Using company equipment and materials responsibly Working to production targets set by the supervisor Maintaining high quality standards and minimising waste Keeping the workstation and surrounding area clean and organised Shift Pattern - Rotating: Week 1: Monday to Thursday: 05:45 - 14:00 Friday: 05:45 - 12:00 39.25 hours per week Week 2: Monday to Thursday: 13:45 - 22:00 Friday: 11:45 - 18:00 39.25 hours per week Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods during the shift Use of stairs to access work areas when required Good balance and awareness when working around machinery, conveyors and forklifts Ability to bend, stoop, twist and reach as part of daily duties Capable of lifting up to 25kg when required Good hand‑eye coordination What's on Offer: On‑site parking Kitchen facilities and showers 12‑week temporary to permanent opportunity Long‑term work with a stable and established company
