Groundworks Engineer / Lead Groundworker A CV IS REQUIRED Daily Rate: £180 per day (PAYE) Annual Salary: £46,800 Job Type: Full-time Working Hours: Monday to Friday (Overtime Available) A full UK driving licence is essential, as the role includes driving a company van. No driving disqualifications. The Role Here at CC Cousins, we are looking for a skilled individual to join our Civils / Groundworks division. CC Cousins operates across the South of the UK, including Norwich, Essex, Oxford, and Portsmouth. As a Groundworks Engineer / Lead Groundworker, you will be responsible for undertaking a variety of works, including but not limited to: * Concrete works * Kerb line repairs, replacements, and installations * ACO channel drainage repairs, replacements, and installations * Tarmac works * Fencing * Road markings * Line painting * Car park markings The role involves coverage throughout London, the Home Counties, the South East, and South West regions. Working hours will vary between early mornings, afternoons, and evenings. Weekend work is available as overtime depending on workload, therefore flexibility is essential. Please note: Travel is a significant part of the role due to client coverage. Desirable Skills & Experience * 3+ years’ previous experience within the industry / as a Streetworks Engineer (preferred) * Experience in white lining works * NVQ qualification in a relevant trade * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Full UK driving licence * CSCS Card * Abrasive Wheels training (advantageous) Essential Qualifications * Full UK Driving Licence * CSCS Certification * NVQ in a relevant field These qualifications are essential for the Civils Engineer / Lead Groundworker position to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
