The Company
NEOS Engineering are working with Sunbelt Rentals, a well-established name in the hire sector, looking to bring in a Workshop Engineer to support their Glasgow depot.
The Role
This is a workshop-based position working across a mix of small tools and plant equipment. You'll be involved in servicing, maintenance, and repairs to keep equipment ready for hire.
Equipment includes:
Small tools (electrical & mechanical)
Excavators (1.5–13 tonne)
Dumpers
Telehandlers
Bowsers
You don't need experience across everything — training will be provided. The aim is to develop multi-skilled fitters across the workshop.
The Candidate
Background in plant, tools, or mechanical engineering
Open to learning and developing new skills
Hands-on and reliable
Comfortable working in a workshop environment
What's on Offer
£34,000 – £38,000 basic
Overtime available (typically up to 25 hours per month, optional)
Flexible working patterns — early starts/finishes available
Ongoing xwzovoh training and upskilling
Hours
Standard: 7:30am – 5:00pm
Flexibility around start/finish times to suit
