Electrical Fitter Location: Portsmouth Rate: £26.89 per hour (Local) OR £37.75 per hour (Non-Local) Umbrella

- Inside IR35 Contract Length: 12 months We are currently looking for experienced Electrical Fitters to join one of the UK's leading defence organisations based in Portsmouth.

The role will involve: Installing a wide range of cabling, including multi-core, single-core and coaxial cables Fitting and assembling electrical equipment such as junction boxes, fuse boards, consoles, transformers and switches Carrying out fault finding and diagnostics using electrical schematics Testing systems with multi-meters and insulation resistance testers What we're looking for: A completed apprenticeship with final certification Level 3 qualification (NVQ or City & Guilds) Ability to read and interpret electrical installation drawings Comfortable working in confined spaces and at height Relevant xwzovoh safety qualifications (SHE induction, COSHH awareness, working at height, etc.) Previous experience within marine, oil & gas, heavy construction, or manufacturing environments For more information or to apply, please contact Lauren Morley at JAM Recruitment .
