Teaching Assistant
Specialist SEND School | North Leeds
Full-time | Term-time only

We’re working with a brilliant specialist school in North Leeds supporting children and young people with autism and a range of complex needs. It’s a collaborative, ego-free environment where everyone mucks in and every small win is celebrated.
What your days will look like
Small classes of 6 to 9 pupils, so you can build real relationships.
Proper teamwork, regular communication, no being left in the lurch.
Opportunities to work across primary and secondary ages, keeping things varied and interesting.
Colleagues who are committed to the journey, not just clocking in and out.
A typical day might include:
Supporting the class teacher to keep learning purposeful and structured
Helping pupils build confidence, independence, and emotional regulation
Creating a calm, organised classroom environment
Developing your SEND knowledge through hands-on experience and free CPD

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
