English Lecturer - GCSE and Functional Skills

• Salary: £30 to £40 per Hour (Dependant on Experience & Qualifications)
• Job Type: Full-time & Part-time Available

We are seeking to appoint English Lecturers, either part-time or full-time, to deliver GCSE and Functional Skills English within our clients cross-College provision. This role primarily targets vocational learners aged 16-18, along with a growing number of part-time adult learners. Day-to-day of the role:

• Deliver engaging and effective English lessons to vocational learners aged 16-18, as well as adult learners, ensuring high levels of student achievement.
• Prepare lesson plans and instructional materials that cater to different learning styles and needs.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
• Participate in curriculum development activities to ensure content is current and relevant.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and strategies for engaging and motivating resit learners.
• Support students in their development and help them progress onto higher courses or into the workplace.
