School Premises Officer

Location: Swallowdale Primary School, Dalby Road, Melton Mowbray, LE13 0BJ 🕒 Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm 💷 Pay Rate: £21.04 per hour 📅 Start Date: Immediate Start (ASAP) We are currently recruiting for an experienced School Premises Officer to join Swallowdale Primary School on an immediate basis. Key Responsibilities: Opening and securing the school site Carrying out routine maintenance and minor repairs Ensuring the premises are safe, secure, and well-maintained Conducting health & safety and compliance checks Liaising with contractors and school staff Managing site security, alarms, and access arrangements Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the school premisesEssential Requirements: Previous experience as a School Premises Officer, Caretaker, Site Supervisor, or similar role Enhanced DBS Certificate DBS registered on the Update Service Strong maintenance and health & safety knowledge Reliable and able to start immediatelyWhat We Offer: Competitive pay rate of £21.04 per hour Opportunity to work within a respected educational trust Friendly and supportive school environmentIf you meet the above requirements and are available to start immediately, please apply with your up-to-date CV today.
