Solicitor (POCA, Business Crime)

We’re working with a specialist London criminal defence firm looking to recruit a Business Crime / Financial Crime Solicitor to join its growing team.

This is a great opportunity for a solicitor with strong criminal defence experience and genuine technical exposure to POCA, confiscation, account freezing orders and asset forfeiture.

The role will involve a mix of:

• POCA and confiscation proceedings
• Account freezing and forfeiture orders
• Cash seizure and civil recovery matters
• Fraud, money laundering and financial crime cases
• Police station attendance
• Magistrates’ Court and Crown Court work
• Private client and legally aided criminal defence matters

The firm is particularly keen to speak with candidates who are duty qualified and confident handling police station work. Police station accreditation would also be highly desirable.

This role would suit someone from around NQ–5 PQE, although directly relevant experience will be more important than PQE alone. xwzovoh
