Litigation Associate

Insurance Litigation Associate | 2-4 PQE | London

A leading international law firm is looking for a mid-level associate to join its top-ranked insurance disputes team in London.

The team is about 30 lawyers acting for policyholders, insurers and brokers, mainly in energy, real estate and financial institutions. The work is high profile, including billion-dollar aviation coverage claims, cyber claims and the Covid-19 business interruption test case. The firm is Tier 1 in Chambers and Legal 500 for policyholder insurance litigation.

You'll work on:

• Coverage disputes across all classes of insurance
• Contentious regulatory work for insurance sector clients
• Professional negligence claims, mainly involving brokers and solicitors

You'll have:

• 2-4 years' PQE (more or less considered)
• England & Wales qualification
• Insurance, professional negligence or commercial litigation experience
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills
