Job Title: Electrical Compliance Coordinator
Location: National- Remote Working
Contract: Permanent - 40 hours per week

Job Purpose:
The Electrical Compliance Coordinator will report directly to the National Electrical Manager and play a key role in supporting the organisation’s adherence to all relevant electrical regulations and specifications. This includes ensuring compliance across employees, both direct and subcontracted, and all associated projects.
The role involves working on both the Morrisons and M&S contracts, maintaining and executing compliance directives, monitoring performance metrics, and conducting analysis to identify areas for improvement. Where necessary, the assistant will implement targeted interventions to support and enhance alignment with established electrical compliance standards.
Key Accountabilities:
* Conduct analytical and transactional assessments to evaluate electrical compliance performance across critical business areas.
* Act as the primary point of contact for statistical reporting inquiries related to electrical compliance, providing basic subject matter expertise and guidance.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote compliance, review operational processes, and monitor adherence to applicable regulations and policies.
* Support the timely completion of weekly, monthly, and annual performance reports and presentation materials for operational and compliance management teams.
* Provide secondary support for compliance-related performance processes and communications, ensuring consistency and accuracy across service lines.
* Ensure timely and accurate delivery of compliance reports to City Operational Managers and Subcontractor Managers.
* Liaise with internal departments and external partners to collect relevant data and updates for reporting and performance tracking.
* Maintain comprehensive documentation and records to support audit readiness and regulatory compliance.
* Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes to enhance clarity, accuracy, and operational efficiency.
* Monitor and follow up on outstanding compliance actions, escalating unresolved issues to ensure timely resolution.
* Assist the National Electrical Manager in tracking and managing EICR remedial actions across City Teams and subcontractors, working in collaboration with the EQS teams to ensure accurate technical oversight and timely completion.
* Coordinate the scheduling of AST annual audits, ensuring each AST receives a compliance inspection from a member of the EQS team within the required yearly cycle.
* Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date tracking and reporting of electrical test equipment calibrations, issuing proactive notifications to Operational teams when equipment is approaching its calibration expiry.
* Support the coordination and maintenance of the PAT testing schedule, including arranging bookings with Operational teams to ensure timely testing of their electrical equipment.
* Contribute to monthly compliance meetings with Operational Managers and Clients by preparing and presenting updates on PPM and remedial progress, including:
1. Overview of current month’s compliance metrics and PPM evaluations
2. Assessment of aged tasks and overdue Planned Preventative Maintenance items
3. Review of certification status and outstanding remedial action
People Responsibilities:
All personnel are responsible for ensuring that their personal information and required training certifications are kept accurate and up to date in the relevant systems.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
* Demonstrated robust organisational capabilities complemented by meticulous attention to detail.
* Exceptional communication skills, proficient in both written and verbal modalities.
* A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, coupled with a strong willingness to engage in continuous learning.
* Acquainted with and possessing a working understanding of the Facilities Management.
* Possession of educational credentials equivalent to GCSE/Standard Grade level
* Knowledge and understanding of the Customer Contract
* Proficient in the extraction, collation, and presentation of performance data pertinent to business objectives
* Capability to operate effectively under pressure
* Demonstrated confidence in liaising with contractors
* Proven experience in cultivating robust working relationships with colleagues
* Openness to working flexible hours to meet business needs
* Competent in PC and Microsoft usage
