About the role
We're looking to engage experienced Electrical Auditors on a contract basis to support a range of technical assessment and audit activities across Scotland.
This opportunity would suit experienced electrical professionals with a strong technical background who enjoy working independently while maintaining high standards of quality, compliance and customer service.
Assessment of contractor on ECIRs, EIC’s where both the client and contractor want to develop individuals and benchmark overtime the quality. Generally the auditor will spend time on site observing contractors in operation or reviewing completed work. A target of 6 onsite Audits per day is requested. A report is then required which goes Via NICEIC head office to discuss report and outcomes with the client (example reports can be provided).
Assessor visits site and observes completed work against BS7671 with the responsible contractor. This generally is where a client wants a third-party view but does not want to go through official complaint procedure.
You will have a technical background aligned with those delivering electrical training courses, making this a natural extension of their existing expertise.
Level 3 Award in the Periodic Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installation (minimum requirement)
Experience carrying out electrical inspections and testing
Excellent communication and report writing skills
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Scotland
