Account Manager Weddings & Corporate Events

Location: London
Salary: £40,000 £45,000
Working Pattern: Full-time, office based with event attendance as required
My client is a fast-growing London catering business delivering creative events across weddings, corporate functions and private hospitality. They are now seeking an Account Manager to support continued growth across both client relationships and new business activity.
This is a commercially focused role combining sales, account management and event operations. You will manage clients from initial enquiry through to delivery, while proactively driving repeat business, growing existing accounts and identifying new opportunities across corporate clients, weddings and venues.
The role would suit someone ready to step up from a reactive sales position into a more commercially driven account management role with greater ownership and autonomy.
Key Responsibilities
Manage event and catering enquiries from initial contact through to delivery
Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive repeat business and account growth
Create tailored proposals, quotations and event plans aligned to client briefs
Lead client meetings, tastings and site visits
Identify opportunities to upsell and maximise revenue across bookings
Manage a portfolio of repeat corporate and private clients
Monitor account activity and produce performance reporting and insights
Support outreach activity and venue partnership development
Coordinate event logistics including staffing, equipment and supplier management
Work closely with kitchen and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery
Attend events where required to oversee client experience and service quality
About You
Minimum 23 years experience within events, catering or hospitality sales
Strong client relationship and account management experience
Commercially aware with confidence in upselling and revenue generation
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience using CRM systems and reporting tools advantageous
Passionate about food, hospitality and delivering exceptional events
Proactive, solutions-focused and confident taking ownership
