This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded precision manufacturer supplying complex, tight-tolerance components to the aerospace and defence sectors, operating within a clean, well-invested machining environment. The Successful CNC Turner – Setter / Operator – Package: * Salary: £53,564.16 per annum (inclusive of shift allowance) * Shift Pattern: 46.4 hours per week * Monday to Thursday * 18:00 – 06:00 * Permanent, full-time * Stability: Excellent long-term career security within a global aerospace precision engineering group The Successful CNC Turner – Setter / Operator – Requirements: * Minimum 5 years’ experience in aerospace or automotive precision machining * Apprentice trained or equivalent hands-on engineering background * Confident setting and operating CNC turning centres, specifically Mazak lathes * Strong understanding of datum setting, tooling offsets, and cutting parameters * Ability to read, edit, and control CNC programs in line with company procedures * Experienced working to tight tolerances and producing right-first-time components * Competent using inspection equipment including micrometers, verniers, height gauges, CMMs, and shadow graphs * High attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality and accuracy * Positive, team-focused attitude with the ability to work to structured production plans * Experience carrying out TPM / basic machine maintenance is desirable If you’re a skilled CNC Turner – Setter / Operator looking to join a world-class aerospace manufacturer offering long-term stability, strong earnings, and consistent night shifts, this is an opportunity not to be missed.
