Support Worker 7am-11am Monday to Friday Burrow Down Support Services Burrow Down Support Services is seeking a compassionate and reliable Support Worker to join our friendly team within a respite care setting.

Location: Torquay Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am 11:00am Pay: £12.82 per hour Job Type: Part-time, Permanent About the Role: As a Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to individuals in a respite service, promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities: Providing personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting Supporting individuals with daily routines and promoting independence Assisting with meal preparation and, where required, feeding Offering emotional support and companionship Supporting with mobility and safe moving & handling Administering medication (where trained to do so) Encouraging participation in activities and social engagement Following care plans and risk assessments Maintaining accurate records and reports Ensuring safeguarding, health and safety procedures are followed at all times Supporting individuals to attend appointments or outings where required Communicating effectively with families, colleagues, and healthcare professionals What Were Looking For: A caring, patient, and empathetic approach Good communication and teamwork skills xwzovoh Reliable and punctual Previous care experience is desirable but not essential What We Offer: Consistent weekday morning hours Supportive and friendly working environment Ongoing training and development opportunities The opportunity to make a positive impact every day If you are passionate about supporting others and looking for a rewarding part-time role, we would love to hear from you.
