Motor Vehicle Technician

*Job Summary* We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles, ensuring they meet safety and performance standards. *Duties*

* Conduct comprehensive inspections of vehicles to identify faults and issues * Use schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot problems * Perform repairs and maintenance on vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, brakes, and suspension * Utilise hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to carry out assembly and repair tasks * Interpret technical diagrams and schematics to facilitate accurate repairs * Carry out equipment repair and maintenance to ensure operational efficiency * Assist in the assembly of vehicle components during manufacturing or refurbishment processes * Perform heavy lifting when handling vehicle parts or equipment safely and efficiently * Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures clearly

*Requirements*

* Proven experience with vehicle maintenance and repair processes * Strong mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams * Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive repair tools * Experience with vehicle assembly and equipment repair tasks * Knowledge of maintenance procedures for various vehicle systems * Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively * Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail * Good communication skills for customer interactions and team collaboration * Prior experience working with automotive diagnostics is desirable but not essential

Pay: £33,800.00-£35,100.00 per year
