Were currently looking for a Night Support Worker to support our client in Burry Port just a short walk from the train station and close to the beach.
Meet the Client:
Our client lives independently with a spinal cord injury and has full capacity, meaning he can clearly communicate his needs and guide you in his care.
He enjoys:
Painting, photography, and music (including playing the drums when he can)
Watching TV and films in the evenings
Getting outdoors and exploring new places
Maintaining a healthy lifestyle
Travelling and visiting seaside locations such as Cornwall
When you'll be working:
23 nights per week
8:00pm 8:00am
24 - 36 hours available
In this role, youll support one individual with complex needs as part of a consistent care team, with regular weekly shifts and rotas planned in advance. While the role is offered on a flexible zero-hours contract, the work is ongoing and typically provides a stable working pattern with the same client.
What you'll be doing:
This is a full waking night role , supporting the client in his own home.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting with bedtime routine,
Providing personal care overnight.
Repositioning and readjusting during the night for comfort.
Working as part of a 2:1 team for morning routines , including full moving & handling and hoisting to chair (ceiling track hoist)
What you'll have:

Flexibility and commitment to a consistent routine
No previous experience is required we provide full training, shadow shifts, and ongoing support to help you succeed in the role.
What to look forward to:
up to £14.00 per hour depending on NVQ qualification
Youll also receive an additional 14.07% holiday pay on every hour worked
Full specialist training, shadow shifts, and ongoing support from the Care Manager provided
