The Role We are currently recruiting for an experienced Press Toolmaker to join a well-established and growing manufacturing business.

You will be responsible for the manufacture, maintenance, and repair of press tooling, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime across production.
Key Responsibilities Manufacture, maintain, and repair press tools to a high standard Fault finding and problem-solving on tooling issues Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on all tooling Support production teams with tool changeovers and improvements Work with engineering and production to drive continuous improvement Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety standards Requirements Proven experience as a Press Toolmaker (progression, transfer, or blanking tools) Strong understanding of press tooling, dies, and associated machinery Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Skilled in manual machining (milling, turning, grinding) Experience with toolroom equipment and fitting techniques Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills Desirable Experience within high-volume manufacturing (automotive, aerospace, etc.) Knowledge of CNC machining Apprenticeship or relevant engineering qualification The Company This is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable company with a strong presence in its sector. xwzovoh
