Step into a role where your leadership genuinely shapes patient outcomes as a Ward Manager within a busy inpatient surgical ward in London , with the autonomy and support to set high standards across the whole service. Working Monday to Friday across 37.5 hours, youll lead a multidisciplinary team delivering excellent care across a range of surgicalspecialities.

Package & Benefits

Salary up to £60,000 per annum, dependent on experience.

Key Responsibilities

Lead daily ward operations, workforce planning and safe staffing, aligned to budgetary guidelines.
Provide clinical and professional leadership, including supervision, mentorship and role modelling.
Monitor and develop clinical competence across the team, maintaining high standards of care.
Drive evidence-based practice and service improvement, working with patients, families and stakeholders.

About You

5+ years post-registration experience, including 3+ years within an inpatient surgical ward setting.
Proven experience leading and developing a ward team, including competency monitoring and clinical governance.
Experience teaching, assessing or mentoring junior staff within a surgical environment. xwzovoh
