Working Monday to Friday across 37.5 hours, youll lead a multidisciplinary team delivering excellent care across a range of surgicalspecialities.
This Ward Manager position offers real scope to influence practice, mentor developing clinicians and embed evidence-based improvements, while building your profilewithin a high-performing environment.
Package & Benefits
Salary up to £60,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing with service, with buy or sell options.

Key Responsibilities
Lead daily ward operations, workforce planning and safe staffing, aligned to budgetary guidelines.
Provide clinical and professional leadership, including supervision, mentorship and role modelling.
Monitor and develop clinical competence across the team, maintaining high standards of care.
Drive evidence-based practice and service improvement, working with patients, families and stakeholders.
About You
5+ years post-registration experience, including 3+ years within an inpatient surgical ward setting.
Proven experience leading and developing a ward team, including competency monitoring and clinical governance.
Experience teaching, assessing or mentoring junior staff within a surgical environment. xwzovoh
