MIG / TIG Welder – Classic Vehicles Kent Area Up to £45,000 DOE We’re working with an established classic vehicle specialist looking for an experienced MIG and TIG welder to join their workshop team. The work is focused around classic and older vehicles, so this isn’t repetitive production welding. It’s more about accuracy, care, and being able to adapt your approach depending on the vehicle and the job in front of you. They’re looking for someone practical and reliable. A good fabricator/welder who takes pride in getting things right without making a song and dance about it. You’ll be working on repairs, fabrication, panel work, and restoration-related welding across a varied range of vehicles and projects. What they’re looking for: * Strong MIG and TIG welding ability * Experience with fabrication and repair work * Ability to work neatly and accurately * Someone reliable with a good work ethic * Classic vehicle or automotive experience preferred * Ability to work independently and as part of a small team The role offers: * Interesting varied work * Friendly workshop environment * Monday to Friday working * Stable long-term opportunity * Chance to work on vehicles you’ll actually want to look back at when they leave the workshop This would suit somebody who enjoys proper hands-on work and wants to be part of a business where quality matters more than rushing jobs out the door.
