Together, we are CAVU.The roleAs our  Commercial Analyst, you’ll be at the forefront of our e-commerce business, informing and supporting decision-making by providing accurate, timely and relevant analysis across our key revenue streams.This role plays a critical part in developing the analytical capability of the e-commerce team. You will use data to optimise trading strategies, analyse pricing, promotions and product performance, and ensure maximum commercial benefit is gained from our investments.This is a fantastic opportunity to shape key decisions, have a real impact on performance, and grow your commercial and analytical skillset in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.Key responsibilities include:Supporting Trading Managers and Heads of E-commerce to optimise trading strategies through analysis of key marketsAnalysing pricing, discount and product changes, working collaboratively to improve performanceProviding a suite of trading reports to inform daily and longer-term trading decisionsDeveloping best practice approaches to working with complex and disparate datasetsCreating clear, impactful data visualisations to highlight performance trends, risks and opportunitiesBuilding and maintaining commercial models, including scenario modelling for hypothetical trading situationsSupporting the budget planning process, forecasting and in-year performance trackingProducing commercial reports and insight using Google Analytics, Power BI and SQLSharing insight, skills and experience across the wider analyst community, promoting a strong “squad” mentalityAbout YouWe’re looking for a commercially minded analyst who enjoys working with data, uncovering insight and influencing decisions.You’ll ideally bring:Proven experience in an analytical role within digital, data, e-commerce, commerical environements Strong working knowledge of Google Analytics and Power BI (essential)Experience working with large, complex datasets and confidence selecting appropriate analytical toolsA high level of commercial awareness, with the ability to question data and challenge assumptionsStrong stakeholder management skills and the confidence to provide honest insight and opinionThe ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environmentExperience with SQL (highly desirable)You’ll be comfortable working cross-functionally with E-commerce, Data, Digital Marketing, Finance, Group IS and regional teams across AMER and EMEA.This role is more than day to day reporting, we are looking for candidates who can drive insights and commercial value.The Perks25 days holiday, increasing by 1 day per year with service (up to 28)Option to buy up to 10 additional days’ annual leave, plus 4 flexible bank holidays10% company pensionAnnual bonus schemeOn-site gymMediCash schemeFlexible benefits & discounts – including up to 50% off CAVU products (Escape Lounges, Airport Parking, etc.)Rail and retail discounts2 paid volunteering days per yearAccess to our internal events calendar including regular health, wellbeing and ID&E activitiesDevelopment opportunities including mentoring and learning grantsEnhanced parental leave (T&Cs apply)EDI at CAVUWe’re building something brilliant at CAVU: a diverse team of people who reflect the global customer base we serve.
