About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Control Panel Wire Person with 3+ years’ industry experience to join our Assembly & Test team in Staffordshire.

You’ll be responsible for wiring and assembling electrical control panels of varying size and complexity, working from schematic drawings, parts lists and specifications. You’ll also support quality processes, complete assembly documentation and, when required, lead a production bay with support from the Production Team Leader.

This is a hands‑on, workshop‑based role requiring full on‑site attendance Monday to Friday.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble and wire electrical components using drawings and specifications
  • Complete assembly record cards for full traceability
  • Mechanical assembly of cubicles, frameworks and sub‑assemblies
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and support rework when required
  • Update issue logs and liaise directly with design engineers
  • Support production bay leadership when required
  • Work flexibly to meet project deadlines


What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years’ experience in electrical panel wiring
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematic drawings
  • Strong attention to xwzovoh detail and pride in workmanship
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills and a positive, can‑do attitude
  • Ability to manage your own time and meet deadlines
  • Willingness to undergo SC Clearance
