Multi-Trade Maintenance Technician | £33,372 Overtime Van Excellent Benefits | Wakefield Area Contract: Permanent Hours: Monday to Friday | 40 Hours Per Week Company van, tools and overtime provided We have an excellent opportunity for a Multi-Trade Maintenance Technician to join a market-leading provider of modular buildings, portable accommodation and site solutions.

This is a field-based multi-trade maintenance role carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, repair and refurbishment work at customer sites across the region, supporting a wide range of modular buildings and accommodation units.

The role would suit candidates from a building maintenance, facilities maintenance, property maintenance, repairs, modular buildings, shopfitting, caravan/mobile accommodation, multi-skilled trades or service technician background.

The role: • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance and repair work across modular buildings and accommodation units • Complete general building maintenance tasks including basic plumbing repairs • Undertake joinery and fabric maintenance including flooring, partitions, doors, ceilings and windows • Carry out basic electrical maintenance such as like-for-like replacement of lighting and fittings • Diagnose and repair internal and external faults on customer sites • Complete external repairs including roof, cladding and window repairs • Carry out paint and cosmetic repairs where required • Work safely at height in line with site procedures and safety requirements • Maintain accurate job records using a PDA/mobile device • Manage van stock, tools and materials effectively • Represent the business professionally whilst working on customer sites Candidate requirements: • Experience within a building maintenance, facilities maintenance, property maintenance, repairs or service technician role • General multi-trade maintenance capability across building fabric repairs and maintenance • Experience using a range of hand and power tools safely and effectively • Basic plumbing, joinery and general building maintenance skills • Basic IT skills for updating job information and communicating electronically • Able to work independently and manage workload across customer sites • Strong awareness of health and safety procedures • Customer-focused approach with good communication skills • CSCS Card / NVQ Level 2 Blue Skilled Worker desirable • ECS, IPAF or PASMA beneficial but not essential • Full UK driving licence essential Benefits: • Overtime paid at time and a half • Company van and tools provided • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays • Option to purchase additional holidays • Employee Assistance Programme • Reward and recognition schemes • Excellent long-term career development opportunities If this sounds like the opportunity you have been looking for then please apply by attaching your CV.
