Job Title: Civil Operative (Competent Person - NSI 6 & 8 / HSG 47) - Substation Works Location: Pembroke Substation Rate: £35 per hour Job Description: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Operative to work on substation projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring safe and compliant operations within a live HV (High Voltage) substation environment. Key Responsibilities: Manage access to a live HV substation in strict accordance with NG NSI Safety Rules Ensure safe access and egress for delivery vehicles and plant within the substation Carry out general groundworks duties to a high standard Maintain a safe working environment at all times Adhere to all health & safety regulations, including HSG 47 guidelinesEssential Requirements: Civil Operative (Competent Person) certification NSI 6 & 8 accreditation (National Grid) Proven experience working within live substations HSG 47 Manual Handling certification Relevant groundworks experienceDesirable Information: Candidates must hold all required certifications and tickets - applications without these will not be considered Full PPE is mandatory prior to starting on siteAdditional Information: Competitive rate of £35 per hour Immediate start available for the right candidate
