Senior Ecologist

Join a friendly and passionate ecological consultancy working across the South East, with projects covering protected species, habitat creation, restoration and Biodiversity Net Gain. They are looking for a Senior Ecologist to join their team in Kent.
As a Senior Ecologist, you will:
Lead protected species and habitat surveys
Undertake ecological assessments and BNG work
Prepare technical reports and plans using QGIS/ArcGIS
Manage projects and liaise with clients and multidisciplinary teams
Prepare and oversee protected species licence applications
Provide guidance and mentoring to junior ecologists
Support habitat creation, restoration and mitigation strategiesBenefits include:

5+ years' ecological consultancy experience
Relevant ecology/environmental degree
CIEEM membership
Protected species licence(s), with progress towards others
Strong UKHab, BNG, QGIS/ArcGIS and report-writing experience
Project management and client liaison experience
Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
Full right to work in the UK
