Contract Electronics Engineer

Contract Electronics Engineer  Cambridge | Hybrid (3 days/week on site) £50-65/hour We're working with an established UK medical technology business as they look to strengthen their electronics team with an experienced contractor. This is offered initially on a 6-month basis, with potential to move to a rolling contract. You'll work embedded within an existing electronics team, supporting the design, capture and review of complex electronics through requirements, schematic capture, design reviews and PCBA layout, through to board bring-up and system test.  What You'll Bring: A broad foundation in electronics design, with deeper experience in one or more of: embedded microprocessors and control systems, motor drive circuits, low-voltage power supplies, FPGA design, analogue sensor interfaces, or high-speed communications  Experience taking electronic designs from inception through to manufacture Experience using Altium Designer for schematic capture and guiding PCB layout through to design outputs Knowledge of DFx principles, with experience collaborating with electronics manufacturers Good familiarity with design for EMC compliance A proven track record as a contractor, working embedded within client teams to deliver high-quality, complex electronics designs Background in a regulated industry such as medical devices, aerospace, defence or automotiveKeen to express your interest, or find out more?
