Primary Teaching Assistants (SEMH) Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting for experienced and passionate Teaching Assistants to join a dedicated Primary SEMH School in Southampton. This specialist school provides high-quality education and support for primary-aged pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, creating a nurturing and structured environment where every child is encouraged to achieve their full potential. As a successful candidate, you will play a key role in supporting pupils both academically and emotionally, helping them overcome barriers to learning while promoting confidence, resilience, and positive behaviour. You will work closely with teachers, support staff, and external professionals to provide a holistic approach to each pupil's development. While previous experience within an SEMH, SEN, or alternative provision setting is advantageous, it is not essential. The school offers ongoing training and professional development.
