SEMH Teacher - English, Maths, Science
We are looking for a qualified teacher who has experience working with and adapting lessons to support children return to school after a period of time out due to medical illness. This school specalises in supporting children with medical, social and emotional needs. This role will be based at one site in carshalton, but also at the child school as they phase thier return - meaning you will need your own car. We are looking for a compassionate, patient and dedicated teacher to be part of this very supportive team!
Expectations/ About the Role:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons using innovative methods to foster curiosity and excitement in the classroom.
Create a nurturing learning environment tailored to each student's needs, promoting personal development and well-being alongside the academic curriculum.
Facilitate communication and interaction opportunities to empower students to express themselves, engage with others, and contribute to the world around them.
Foster emotional regulation and resilience to support positive mental health and well-being outcomes.
Collaborate with a team of professionals to create a positive learning environment.
Build strong relationships with students, parents and staff, ensuring a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.SEN Teacher Must:
Be qualified Primary School Teacher with QTS.
A car - this is a requirment of the role.
Have expert knowledge of Special Educational needs and how to adapt learning styles.
