Job Title - Commercial Property PA, We're excited to offer a great opportunity for a Personal Assistant to join our expanding team, based in Huddersfield. As a Personal Assistant (PA), your primary responsibility is to support Fee Earners within the Commercial Property team, ensuring the smooth operation of the department. Adherence to agreed practices, procedures, and compliance and quality standards will be essential. Manage client phone calls, inquiries, and requests, including taking messages, scheduling appointments, and offering assistance where possible. Collaborate closely with a Commercial Property Fee Earner to organize both digital and physical files, maintain original documents, and track important deadlines for ongoing matters. Assist Fee Earners with the general management of cases, including filing, typing from digital dictation, and photocopying when required. Draft and submit SDLT (Stamp Duty Land Tax) returns online as directed. Ensure post-completion duties are carried out, such as Companies House registrations, SDLT submissions, and ordering indemnity policies when applicable. Participate in required training and take responsibility for your ongoing professional development. Offer support to other secretaries as required. Person Specification - Essential Skills/Qualifications: Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and telephone communication skills. Previous experience in either residential or commercial property.
