CNC Setter / Operator 17 - £20 per hour depending on skill level + monthly bonus Permanent, Full Time We are Thomas Brown Engineering Ltd, based in Huddersfield. We are manufacturers of bespoke precision machined components and supply these to our customers in sectors such as food & drink, oil & gas, medtech, aerospace and defence. Are you a skilled CNC setter/operator with a passion to develop your skill set and embrace our lean culture? Or, you could be a highly skilled CNC Programmer/setter/operator looking for your next challenge; Setting and operating CNC machines with Heidenhain/ISO/Fanuc controls Accurately completing work logs on production control software and creating/reading computerised tooling sheets Confidently using measuring tools to check work before it is taken to our quality control department Partake in lean training and actively contribute to our lean initiative by undertaking daily improvements to share with the team In either turning, milling or both, good experience and proven skills in CNC setting and operating in a sub-contract precision machining environment A team player who is flexible with a 'can do' attitude Someone who pays close attention to detail, has a commitment to quality and a desire to offer consistently high-quality parts to our customers Competitive hourly rate (dependant on level of skill we offer between £17/hour plus monthly bonus and £20/hour plus monthly bonus) Friday overtime (when required) @ rate plus half Generous full team monthly bonus scheme Employee life assurance benefit scheme Access to funded training for work or personal development We communicate directly with candidates so NO RECRUITMENT AGENCIES Candidates with experience of: CNC Programmer, CNC Operator, CNC Machinist, Machine Operator, Machinist, Turner, CNC Turner, Programmer, CNC Operative, CNC Engineer, CNC Miller, Miller, Machine Operative, CNC Setter, Setter, CNC Programming, Machine CNC Turner, CNC Engineering will also be considered for this role.
