Family Paralegal

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and motivated Family Paralegal to join a well-established and highly regarded law firm based in Bristol. This role is ideal for a candidate with previous experience in Private Family Law, supporting solicitors on a broad range of matters including divorce, financial settlements, and children-related cases. Key Responsibilities Providing day-to-day support to fee earners within the Family department. Meeting clients face-to-face and communicating with them via telephone and email. Preparing and updating court and trial bundles. Drafting and preparing a range of legal documents. Preparing standard client correspondence using firm templates. Managing your own diary, appointments and daily workflow. Carrying out general file administration and maintaining accurate records. Liaising with clients, barristers, courts and other third parties by telephone, email and in person. About You A minimum of 1–2 years' experience working within Family Law is essential. Previous experience handling Private Family matters. Experience using a legal case management system. Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, digital dictation software and case management systems. Excellent organisational, communication and client care skills. Able to manage multiple tasks and work effectively within a busy legal environment. What's on Offer Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm (full-time office-based). Salary: £25,000–£27,000, depending on experience. 25 days' annual leave plus bank holidays. Workplace pension.
