GENERAL ASSISTANT

Class 1 Personnel are currently recruiting General Assistant for some of the most prestigious catering companies based at Manchester Airport. This role mainly consists of general food packing duties in the safest way following all Health and Safety guidelines. Shift Times: Flexibility is essential DAY Shift: 5 on 3 off ( shift start time varies with operational requirement, can be anywhere between 06:00 -11:30). Manufacturing and Production The Candidate: To be considered for the General Assistant in Manchester role you'll need to be able to demonstrate good attention to detail skills. The ideal person for this position would need the following: - Previous experience is a similar role - Be able to provide your last 5 years history - Be prepared to undergo a UK criminal Check - Hard working - Keen and have a "can do attitude" - Reliable - UK right to work - Proof of National Insurance -Flexibility is essential Does that sound like you? Key Responsibilities: Provide top level service to the client Work closely with fellow staff to ensure smooth and efficient service Maintain hygiene, health, and safety standards in the kitchen Support stock control and maintain cleanliness and organisation Follow direction from senior staff and contribute to the overall success of the kitchen / warehouse.Requirements: Previous experience in a warehouse role or similar position Excellent attention to detail skills and teamwork skills Flexibility with shift patterns Ability to work on your own initiative Candidates may complete a trial shift Will need to prepare to be on your feet for the whole shift.
