Salary with expected overtime around 45,000 per annum.An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our small, hard-working team at The University of Nottingham’s Centre for Dairy Science Innovation where we operate a leading edge dairy facility with up to 350 cows as well as youngstock reared on the farm. The dairy is a centre of excellence in the provision of education and research facilities for both the School of Biosciences and the School of Veterinary and Medical Science at the University and you will be working alongside our students and academics as well as the farm staff.This role will require the successful candidate to independently manage their own workload and will involve both conventional animal husbandry and stockmanship duties undertaking all associated operations to ensure the highest standards are met at all times. Candidates should be qualified to a minimum of HND/BTEC in Agriculture, or have equivalent qualifications plus have work experience in a relevant role or have proven relevant experience in a similar role. Hours worked by rota averaging 5 days out of 7 including early mornings, some evenings and regular weekends.
