If you thrive on innovation and want to be at the heart of the railway's future, this is the role for you. 🔧 Your Role & Impact Perform mechanical maintenance and repair on Class 185 train units to meet production schedules Replacing all interiors Conduct fault diagnosis, including fault downloads and basic troubleshooting Operate depot driving within site limits Source, order, and retrieve necessary spares and materials Support with rolling stock cleaning and upkeep Identify continuous improvement opportunities and share best practices with peers🧰 What You Bring Background in mechanical fault-finding and repairs (on heavy rolling stock, vehicles, or machinery) Competency in using laptops for diagnostic testing and mechanical diagnostics Experience with documenting maintenance activities and following technical procedures Understanding of tools, PPE care, H&S, biohazards, manual handling, and COSHH Ability to interpret engineering and maintenance manualsRullion celebrates and supports diversity and is committed to ensuring equal opportunities for both employees and applicants
