Technical Manager – Enterprise Security Systems London | Hybrid Working V7 Recruitment are supporting a well-established security solutions business in their search for a Technical Manager to join their expanding London team. This opportunity would suit a technically strong individual from the electronic security sector who is looking to take on a senior position focused on technical leadership, operational support, and driving high standards across projects and service delivery. About the Position As Technical Manager, you’ll take ownership of the division’s technical function, providing guidance to engineers, resolving high-level technical challenges, and helping ensure the successful delivery of enterprise-level security solutions across both installation and maintenance contracts. Main Duties & Responsibilities: • Lead on technical escalations across active projects and service contracts • Provide practical support to field engineers both remotely and on-site when needed • Review system designs and technical specifications before installation • Support commissioning activities to ensure smooth project handovers • Drive consistency across technical processes, standards, and documentation • Assist with the development and mentoring of engineering teams • Work closely with Operations to improve project delivery and reduce delays • Coordinate with manufacturers and third-party partners on technical matters • Help identify training needs and support continuous improvement within the team • Provide technical input on more complex and large-scale projects Candidate Requirements: • Previous experience in a senior technical position within the electronic security industry • Strong knowledge of enterprise security platforms such as Genetec Security Centre and Gallagher Command Centre • Background supporting both installation projects and maintenance/service environments • Good understanding of networking, system integration, and fault diagnosis • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities • Comfortable supporting and mentoring engineers of varying experience levels • Excellent communication and organisational skills Salary & Benefits: • Competitive salary • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays • Company vehicle and fuel card • Company pension scheme • Medicash health plan • Hybrid working arrangement For more information or to apply, please get in touch with V7 Recruitment.
