Maintenance Engineer

Maintenance Engineer 6Month minimum contract £30.15 per hour 4 on 4 off (O/T Available) Kent gap technical are representing a market-leading business seeking an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to provide interim maintenance support at their Kent site. Performance Objectives Reactive breakdown support to minimise disruption Execution of planned and preventative maintenance activities Electrical & Mechanical fault diagnosis using drawings, diagnostics, and equipment history Identification and rectification of recurring equipment faults, including implementation of permanent corrective actions Support for continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment reliability and uptime Collaboration with production and engineering teams to ensure safe and efficient plant operation Assistance with machinery modifications, upgrades, and repair works as required All services delivered in compliance with site health, safety, and food hygiene standards Profile Time-served engineer or demonstrable equivalent industry experience Multi Skilled Capabilities with proven capability in FMCG manufacturing environments Experience working with: 3-phase electrical systems Motors, drives, inverters, and safety circuits I/O PLC fault-finding (Siemens / Allen Bradley or similar) Automated food production and packaging equipment Able to work with minimal direction, managing workload and priorities independently Strong communication skills when liaising with site stakeholders Apply To be considered, please submit your CV via the Apply Now option on the website.
