Multi skill shift engineer

SHIFT ENGINEER – MULTI-SKILLED £53- 55k | 4 on / 4 off | 12-hour shifts  Are you a hands-on Multi-Skilled Engineer who thrives on solving problems and keeping production moving? We’re looking for a skilled Shift Engineer to join our team, providing first-class mechanical and electrical engineering support across PET extrusion, thermoforming and manufacturing equipment. What you’ll be doing: Diagnose and repair mechanical & electrical breakdowns ⚡ Fault-find across motors, drives, sensors, pneumatics, hydraulics & controls ️ Complete planned and reactive maintenance Carry out root cause analysis and eliminate repeat failures Support start-ups, changeovers, upgrades and new equipment Drive reliability, TPM and continuous improvement What we’re looking for: Multi-skilled engineering experience with strong mechanical & electrical skills Manufacturing, FMCG, plastics, packaging or process industry experience Good fault-finding and problem-solving ability HNC, apprenticeship or equivalent engineering qualification PLC, PET extrusion or thermoforming experience is highly desirable What’s in it for you? 4 on / 4 off shift pattern – days & nights 23 days holiday + bank holidays, increasing with service Employer pension contribution 3% Life Assurance Company Sick Pay Medicash Health Care Cash Plan & Retail Discounts Occupational Health Nurse Cycle to Work Scheme Free parking & free eye test How to Apply If you're ready to take the next step in your career and join a company that truly values its people, we want to hear from you!
