We aim to ensure that every leader and employee has access to the necessary tools, systems and processes to ensure everyone goes home safely every day.ResponsibilitiesAligned with the Regional Blueprint, the Sub-Regional HSE Manager operates primarily at the 3-6-month, process-driven horizon. The role converts the Regional annual Capacity Plan into a prioritized sub-regional delivery plan, coordinates execution through standardized processes and routines, and maintains control of high risks through verification, follow-up and escalation.Accountable for deployment of Global and Regional HSE standards, critical controls and management system requirements across the sub-region (Sales, CPX projects, Service sites/centres, warehouses and offices within the defined geographical boundary), and for providing timely assurance inputs and escalations to the Regional Head of HSE.As the senior HSE Manager within the sub-region, this role is accountable not only for operational delivery but for helping shape the safety culture - modelling the behaviors of curious inquiry, systemic thinking and learning over blame that define the Vestas HSE evolution and ensuring these are visible and consistently reinforced in sub-regional operational leadership forums.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
