Your new company Hays Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Painter to join a busy Housing Executive maintenance contract across the Belfast area. This is a full-time position carrying out planned and responsive maintenance works within social housing properties and communal areas.The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting and decorating work to ensure properties are maintained to an excellent standard.Your new role What you'll need to succeed Key Responsibilities - Painting and decorating internal and external surfaces. - Preparation of surfaces including sanding, filling, scraping, and priming. - Painting masonry walls and external render finishes. - Painting window cills, fascia boards, soffits, and fencing. - Carrying out touch-up and remedial painting works. - Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timeframes. - Maintaining a clean and safe working environment. - Adhering to Health & Safety procedures and site regulations. Essential Requirements ✅ Previous experience in a painting and decorating role. ✅ Valid CSR Card. ✅ Full UK Driving Licence. ✅ Ability to work independently and as part of a team. ✅ Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Desirable Criteria - Experience working within social housing or property maintenance environments. - Relevant Painting & Decorating qualification. - Experience carrying out occupied and void property works.
