Commercial Manager

Commercial Manager – £55,000 +

West Midlands - Permanent Hybrid working

A global water engineering company with offices in the UK is looking to appoint a Commercial Manager to support the commercial management of multidisciplinary engineering projects.

This opportunity could be suited to an experienced Quantity Surveyor or commercial professional with a strong understanding of contract management, commercial controls and working with operational, project delivery and procurement teams.

Key experience required:

* Commercial management within water, utilities, engineering, industrial, process or construction sectors

* Strong knowledge of NEC3 and NEC4 contracts

* Experience managing variations, compensation events, claims and final accounts

* Contract negotiation and risk management experience

* Cost forecasting, budget control and commercial reporting

* Ability to work across project delivery, procurement and operational teams

* Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Engineering or a related discipline

Desirable:

* Exposure to FIDIC and MF/1 contracts

* MRICS or MCIOB

* Water sector or process plant project experience

* IOSH or NEBOSH

This is a permanent position with some UK and international travel.
