As a Cover Supervisor, your responsibilities may include:
Supervising classes of secondary school pupils during teacher absences.
Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans and ensuring pupils remain on task.
Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.
Supporting pupils with their classwork and answering questions where appropriate.
Ensuring pupils remain engaged and focused throughout lessons.
Following school policies and procedures.
Reporting any issues or concerns to the appropriate teaching staff.
Building positive relationships with pupils and school staff.
Opportunities are available across secondary schools in Cardiff and the surrounding areas.

You should be:

Able to follow lesson plans and instructions.
Passionate about supporting young people's learning and development.
Previous experience in a school or educational setting is desirable, although we are also interested in candidates with transferable experience working with young people.
