Salary: £35,000-£45,000, negotiable depending on experience
Major Recruitment is recruiting a CAD / REVIT Engineer for an established, growing engineering business specialising in ventilation, air conditioning and HVAC services.
This is an opportunity for a CAD / REVIT Engineer to produce detailed ductwork and air conditioning drawings, carry out site surveys and support project coordination.
The role
As a CAD / REVIT Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

Producing accurate working drawings for production and installation.
Designing and detailing ductwork and air conditioning systems.
Carrying out site surveys, gathering information and coordinating system routes.
Producing take-offs for estimating and assisting with estimates.
Preparing bills of materials.
Checking completed drawings and incorporating equipment details accurately.
Maintaining schedules for issued and received drawings.
Providing drawing time information to support project scheduling.
Copying and printing drawings as required.
Developing your skills through training in additional CAD packages.
About you
The successful CAD / REVIT Engineer will have:

Experience using AutoCAD and Revit, ideally supported by relevant qualifications.
Strong attention to detail and a conscientious approach to drawing accuracy.
Good IT, organisation and time management skills.
GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4 or above.
A positive attitude and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ideally, three years' experience in a similar position, although this is advantageous rather than essential.Interested?
