About our Renewable Energy Consultant role:
This is aConsultantlevel role within ourAdvisory teamwho provide technical and commercial advice to our clients.Our consultantshave the opportunity toworkon a range of projects,oftenhelping acrossdifferent teamsacross various projectaspects.As well as technical work, you willbe supporting Project Managers andthere is someclient facing worktoo.

What you’ll be doing:
You’llbe supportingthe teamwith theplanning anddelivery ofrenewablesprojects(primarilyOnshoreWind,Solarand BESS)fromearly-stagefeasibility, throughdevelopment,design,procurementandconstructionand into operation. You willalsobe supportingwith technical duediligenceandrepoweringprojects.
This will include:
- Supporting project managers as their assistant– helping keep projects on time, on budget and to an excellent standardfrominceptionto close.
- Drafting reports,briefsand documentationincluding project budgets,plans,scopes,work packages,progress reports,riskand change registersetc.
- Helping to track deliverables against project briefs and plans.
- Researching innovativetechnologies, policymechanismsand routes to market.
- Contributing to meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
- Working alongside PMsas asupporting point of contact for clients,suppliersand contractors,reporting onprojectwork packages,expectations, progress, issues,risksand solutions.
- Going on sitevisits.
- Learning and developing your skills.
- Being part ofa great teamin a friendly, supportive environment.
Who would be a good fit:
We are looking for someone whois either at aConsultantlevel oris working at theGraduate level ready to step up. It doesn’t matter if you have not worked in a consultancy before,ifyou have an understanding of renewables projects (either through your currentroleorprevious studies), good communication skillsand want to work as aConsultantthen we would like to hear from you.
What skills / experience do you need:
- Some understanding of renewables either in industry or as part of your degree.
- Strong communicationskills.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word etc)and general IT skills.
- Proactive,organised and a keen eye for detail.
- Good analysis skills.
- A love forlearning.
The nice to haves– you do not need to have these.
- Project management skills – working as the deputy/ assistantPM.
- Experience in energy yield calculationsfor wind and solar PM.
- Knowledge of the engineering standardsfor design and construction of renewable projects.
- Full UK Driving license.
